Abode is owned and run by Paul Maguire. After completing his formal training as an industrial plumber in West London at 18 years of age, Paul worked on large scale commercial renovation projects, where he furthered his knowledge of construction and fine finishing.
Over this time he worked on many high profile contracts such as Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and Sir Phillip Green’s offices above Top Shop on Oxford Street. At The Emirates Stadium Paul was responsible for the fit out of all TV studios, director’s boxes and the exclusive Diamond Club.
This led Paul to develop a strong idea as to what a high end finish should look like and what is involved to acheive it.
Paul set up Abode Renovations in 2007, a West London property renovation company with a handpicked team of painters, decorators, carpenters and a bricklayer. Abode Renovations began with a contract to build an extension in Chiswick and a soon after a loft conversion in South West London. This has led to many more building projects in London. Abode also renovate period property in London and have considerable knowledge and experience of commercial refurbishments and fit outs.
Paul employs a team of 18 full time staff, his wife, Rocio runs the office and the interior design side of Abode Renovations.
